World Pet Association (WPA) was looking for a solution to easily manage their website content and save on the recurring costs they were currently incurring with their third party hosted ASP.net Website. The website has over 3000 pages. Dharne & Co. recommended Joomla CMS (content management system) as an ideal option for a website of this scale. Dharne & Co. migrated the entire Petsource.org website from ASP.net to Joomla CMS. The new website helps the site administrator to easily make changes using the administrator module of adding, removing and editing new pages, images and content. The entire project for designing a new look and migrating the database of about 3000 web pages was achieved with a quick turnaround time.
Dharne & Co. enhanced the original website design by making it more compact and visually appealing. The website has user-friendly navigation and provides for a menu bar at the top of the page classifying the content into proper categories. The site offers quality content in the form of pet info, articles and news updates in a reader friendly format. Visitors can now avail of the quicker search functionality to browse through the extensive Pet Source database.
The new Pet Source Website has OpenX a Advertisement Management System integrated in to it for Advertisement Management from Sponsors and other Advertisers.
